Our Physiotherapists can assess, diagnose, treat, and prevent a wide range of health conditions and movement disorders, by helping to repair damage, reduce stiffness and pain, increase mobility and improve your quality of life.
At Asquith Health Physiotherapy we provide physiotherapy services for Asquith, Hornsby, Hornsby Heights, Berowra, Cowan, Mt Kuring-Gai, Waitara, Wahroonga, and many more.
Your First Physio Appointment
At Asquith Health Physiotherapy, we strive to provide high quality, personalised healthcare, every time. This starts with all our appointments offered as one-on-one consultations, where we listen to your story, and find out what goals you would like to achieve by coming to see us.
A thorough examination is then performed to better understand how your body moves, and anything we can do to make it move better. We give you an honest and simple explanation on what might be going on, give a realistic time frame for recovery, and let you know all the treatment options available to you.
Together we create a plan and set goals. This might be getting out of pain, getting stronger, performing better in a sport, preventing injuries, or even just making sure you age gracefully. We may use some hands-on treatment like massage, joint mobilisations, joint manipulation, or dry needling (acupuncture), together with an individualised exercise program that you can take home with you.
Our Unique Approach to Physiotherapy
Education about your condition
We understand that people want more than just a name to their recent diagnosis. With the use of modern 3D anatomical software, we help you better understand your medical scans and condition without the jargon. Our information is reputable and, accurate, and from the most up to date sources.
Hands On Treatment
Our Physiotherapists are well trained to provide effective hands-on treatment (manual therapy) to help manage your pain and get you to move better. This can include things like: massage, joint mobilisations, joint manipulation, and dry needling. For many health conditions affecting the muscles and joints, this is one of the fastest ways to get better.
This hands-on treatment is always given along with some targeted exercises to maintain the improvement, and make sure you can completely recover without the need to keep coming back.
Exercise is one of the most important things we can do in life to keep healthy. As Physiotherapists, we can use exercise to help stretch muscles, build strength, relieve pain, manage headaches and cramps, improve performance, and even to prevent injuries.
At Asquith Health Physiotherapy, we will always give you suitable exercises (as a print off with associated pictures and videos) to help your health condition.
Our staff are always keeping up to date with the latest research so we can provide the best evidence based management of your health. This means attending conferences, seminars, training courses, and reading up on the latest journal articles so we can keep up to date with the best way to identify and help you manage your health.

Generally, referrals under a care plan or EPC from your GP will cost ~$20 as your out of pocket cost. Private health insurance will generally cover ~50% of the consult fees, and will be cost ~$50 for your first consultation, and ~$40 for any subsequent consultations. This may vary based on the level of cover you have, and it is best to check with your health insurance company for more accurate quotations.
